In the final scene of “Lost in Translation”, Bill Murray whispers something to Scarlett Johansson. If you’ve ever watched the film, it’s pretty much impossible to figure out what he said. The film’s director, Sofia Coppola has long maintained that Murray’s whisper wasn’t a part of the script, and that only he and Scarlett knew exactly what was said.
With the magic of modern technology, the mystery has finally been solved. YouTube user Vid22 used digital audio processing to bring out what was whispered, which can you see in the video below:
