A biopic about legendary Beatles singer John Lennon is going to be directed by Sam Taylor-Wood. Dubbed Nowhere Boy, the film has been penned by Matt Greenhalgh (Control), which focuses on the singer’s childhood and the journey to stardom.
The film will depict Lennon as a lonely teenager growing up with his only escape being music, art and fateful friendship with Paul McCartney.
Casting is currently underway, with filming set to take place on location in Lennon’s hometown in Liverpool.
