itunesThat’s right folks, over on Apple Movie Trailers, they’re offering an animated graphic novel in advance of the upcoming release of Legion in theaters this January.

You’re going to need Quicktime to view it, but don’t worry, it’s a free download.  In fact, I downloaded it myself just for the occasion.  It’s actually pretty smooth and simple to download and install–just a couple button presses and you’re ready to go.

The end result will be actually really impressive, and set up just a tiny sliver of backstory to the full Legion movie coming up, like I said, this January.  I’m not sure why this got fobbed off to January, where as we’ve all seen for years studios dump their properties least likely to make money in theaters yet are contractually obligated to release, or fliers on things the studios think might do well but don’t really hold out much hope for succeeding with.

How will this one turn out?  Only time will tell, but the comic sure makes it look good!
