“I am Legend,” Will Smith’s starrer film, took Box Day in the U. K. and stole the show, bringing in $21.8 million for the weekend alone. The total overseas market for the weekend brought ‘Legend’ to the top finishing out 2007 as the winner with $46.1 million. The complete foreign market box office total is $117 million and the complete totals of the whole market, including the US, is $311 million. Not bad for just opening in the US December 14th.

Even more markets overseas for ‘Legend’ to tap into yet could keep the sci-fi film in front at the box office.
