Variety is reporting that Laura Linney and Kyra Sedgwick will be honored the MUSE Awards on December 9th in the New York City. The New York Women in Film and Television association will honor the pair of actresses with CBS Newswoman Nancy Giles emceeing the event. It has been a great year for both veteran actresses. Linney picked up an Emmy for work on HBO’s biopic “John Adams” and Sedgwick has been picking up critical acclaim for her work on TNT drama “The Closer” which is a ratings grabber for the network.

The MUSE Awards are in their 28th year and are held annually in the Big Apple.
