Variety reports that Pascal Laugier (Martyrs) will direct horror thriller Details for Paramount Vantage and Blumhouse Productions.
The film is based on a short story by China Mieville, focusing on a girl who disappears after awakening supernatural forces that inhabit the random patterns of everyday objects.
It has been adapted by Dan Kay, with additional polish by Laugier himself. Jason Blum and Steven Schneider are producing.
