Variety reports that Dennis Iliadis (The Last House on the Left) has signed on to direct the thriller Cure for Groundswell Productions.
The film will tell the story of a man who sends his wife for an experimental treatment to save her from a terminal illness. While she returns completely cured, she is infected with something more terrifying.
The screenplay has been written by Max Payne scribe Beau Michael Thorne. Shooting is set to begin this summer.
