‘Knocked Up’, a comedy starring Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen, leads a 3 pack of movies that open today. Judd Apatow is getting all kinds of props for his latest comedy and looks like a winner if you are in the mood for laughs this weekend. The movie is about a one night stand gone bad and the ramifications from an incident of too much drinking.

‘Mr Brooks’, which has big names Kevin Costner and Demi Moore in key roles, is thriller that hits the screens today. Costner plays Mr Brooks who is addicted to murder. The movie has received lukewarm reviews from most media outlets so far.

Rounding out this weeks releases is soccer film ‘Gracie’. The movie shows a young girl overcoming adversity to play the sport in the early 80’s. Fans of the sport of soccer may want to try to catch the run at the theater for this sports drama. The movie stars Carly Schroeder, Dermit Mulroney, and Elisabeth Shue.
