Yes, Henry Higgins is the key to the casting as well, and it needs to be a Brit. Someone older but not too old who has somewhat of a feminine quality like Leslie Howard and Rex Harrison.

The whole thing will hinge on who they cast as Henry Higgins…there had better be some good chemistry between Eliza and HH…it’s a love story for heavens sakes…give us 2 lovers!

“Pride and Prejudice” is not a classic like “My Fair Lady.” Knightley can pull off the role, I am sure, but Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison is no match for anyone.

Definitely not a movie that needs to be remade. Of course, I thought the same thing about Pride and Prejudice, and they proved me wrong.
