‘Kite’ Bring Tissue

November 28th, 2007 in Movie News

“The Kite Runner” is guaranteed to move your hearts and well your eyes, so bring tissue. Two boys, Ahmad Khan Mahmidzada and Zekeria Ebrahimi, star in the film about tragedy and redemption under Taliban rule. A story that dearly needs to be told and seen in our American movie theaters.

You might have heard in the news that “Runner” release date was moved back from November to December because of safety concerns for the two boy leads who were recently evacuated from Afghanistan.

Originally a bestselling book in 2005 about Afghanistan written in English by an Afghanistan, Khaled Hosseini, “Runner” opens December 14th. photo_18.jpg

I read this book, can’t wait for the movie.

  2. Elle Marie Says:

I’m anxiously awaiting the release date of the screenplay adaptation of Khaled Hosseini’s best-selling novel. With a dream team consisting of director, Marc Forster and screenplay writer, David Benioff my expectations for the movie run high. I am glad to hear the Oscar buzz surrounding this film and I firmly believe viewers from all over the world will appreciate the underlying themes of love, friendship, family, betrayal, and salvation. It is a good idea to bring a tissue as audiences will be moved whether they expect it or not. Check out the motion picture’s website http://www.kiterunnermovie.com!
