JJ Abrams Working on Apartment Movie

June 18th, 2008 in Movie News

mysteryonfifthave-440x234 In today’s bit of odd news, Paramount has purchased the rights to an article published in the New York Times about an apartment. They have hired JJ Abrams to produce a feature film based on the article which described a 14th-floor apartment on upper Fifth Avenue which contains a Rube Goldberg maze of systems designed by a young architect named Eric Clough.

/Film reports that screenwriters Maya Forbes and Wally Wolodarsky have been hired to turn the idea into a movie. For more information on the interesting apartment, check out the NY Times article, or better even, view pictures of it.
