In a severe case of bad timing, the trades are reporting that Janet Jackson will reprise her role in Why Did I Get Married Too, Tyler Perry’s upcoming comedy sequel.
She played Patricia, a successful author and psychologist who prefers to analyze other people’s relationship problems rather than deal with her own marriage. The original followed a group of college friends who go on vacation and start questioning their relationships when one couple’s infidelity is discovered.
It is not known if she is still involved in the project, what with her brother Michael Jackson dying last night. She is currently in Los Angeles to grieve with her family.
The film is set for release on April 2 next year. This means that the film would go through a summer shoot, which could be too soon for Janet Jackson.
