James Hong Documentary to Debut at Cannes

May 2nd, 2007 in Actors, Documentary, Festivals

james_hong_large.jpgDramatika Films has announced today that the company will screen the documentary ‘Man of a Thousand Faces’ for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival. The film looks at the career of Hong, born in 1929, and his roles in films such as “Blade Runner,” “Big Trouble in Little China,” “Chinatown,” “Black Widow”, “Wayne’s World 2″, and many many more.  Hong is so prolific he is still acting as he currently has a part in the television show ‘24′.

“Every location we took the production, whether it was on the streets of Minneapolis or a hotel lobby in Beijing, people instantly recognized James and, beaming with a huge smile, would express how much they enjoyed his movies,” said producer and director Kym Secrist. “He is a respected actor among his peers and critics, he is an icon to his loyal fans and admirers, and his achievements in film and television are unparalleled in virtually every country and culture.”

This one looks like it shouldn’t be missed by hardcore movie buffs.
