Samuel L. Jackson, the eternal ass-kicker, is set to portray the villain in Sony’s remake of the 1985 cult classic The Last Dragon.
The ‘80s original told the story of a young martial arts student as he fights on the streets of New York to achieve the highest level of martial arts accomplishment – the Last Dragon.
Jackson will play Sho’nuff, the Shogun of Harlem, a role played by the late Julius Carry in the original.
The screenplay is being penned by Dallas Jackson. Producers include the writer himself, as well as John Davis, Kerry Gordy and RZA.

I love this movie. They should cast Glenn Bradley as Bruce Leroy. He has the Martial Arts skills and he is sooo fine. We need a fresh face in Hollywood. You should check out his trailer at

I did see Glenn Bradley’s movie trailer that LK posted and he is good. Dang that boy can jump high. He would make a good Bruce Leroy Green. He fine too. Busta Rhymes would be better as Sho’nuff because of those lips.
