Is George Miller Bringing Back “Mad Max”?

October 26th, 2007 in Action, Gossip, Movie News, classic

madmax.jpgAccording to Clint Morris at Moviehole, one of the site’s most reliable sources has tipped them off to the reopening of the Mad Max 4: Fury Road production quarters at Fox’s Sydney lot. It’s been over two decades now since George Miller’s last “Mad Max” flick, Beyond Thunderdome, and it looks like now he’s ready to bring him back.

The source also notes that George Miller will be working on Mad Max 4 concurrently with the Justice League of America and Happy Feet 2. In other words, he’ll be juggling 3 movies all at the same time. It is also rumored that development on Mad Max 4 is moving so quickly that it may actually hit theaters before JLA.

Mad Max 4 had seen several false starts, budget problems, and a whole lot of other issues over the years, so it’s a relief that it is finally all coming together.
