While Chase has said in the past that a movie, at this point, wouldn’t be necessary because the content of this past “mini-season” would have been the content of the movie, it looks as though it may not be entirely out of the question. With the show now officially over and done with, some of the show’s stars have begun dropping hints about a possible movie.

While visiting Hollywood, Florida to promote the finale, actor Steve Van Zandt, who plays Tony Soprano’s consigliere Silvio Dante, gave the mysteriously cryptic answer of “We’re not sure it’s ending,” when asked about the show’s final episode. When Van Zandt was asked about a movie stemming from the show, he replied, “A couple of years from now, who knows?”
