I am very excited for Quentin Tarantino because he scored wildly well on Friday’s box office. Inglourious Basterds is Tarantino’s best domestic box office opening ever. From the looks of the trailers and Steve Anderson’s review, we should not be surprised. It’s a movie where we can all watch and have a great laugh while we witness Brad Pitt and his cronies kill off the Nazi regime.
I have to mention that Nora Ephron’s Julie & Julia is still in the top five, go girls!
Results:
1. Inglourious Basterds
$ 14.3
2. District 9
$ 5.5
3. G.I. Joe
$ 3.6
4. The Time Traveler’s Wife
$ 3.3
5. Julie and Julia
$ 2.6
