Variety reports that Imagi Entertainment has completed a $25 million financing plan to bring the CG animated feature film version of classic anime series Astro Boy back on track.
The film’s production was temporarily suspended last month due to financing issues, but that has now been sorted out. They are also continuing active development of the Gatchaman and Tusker projects.
Astro Boy is scheduled to hit cinemas on October 3.
