E Online reports that Desperate Housewives showrunner Marc Chery would like to extend the show through to a ninth season, though there are “no deals in place yet.”
It all depends on ratings, cast willingness and other major factors, according to a source, before adding that “it sure seems like it could happen.”
The show is currently in its fifth season and the TV network is yet to pick up on a sixth season. It has to be noted that ratings for the show has been stellar this year.

I can only imagine what these women’s botoxed and ratched-back faces are going to look like by Season 9. Desperate Cyborgs is more like it.
