Help Save The World From Destruction With Alfonso Cuarón

Did Alfonso Cuarón’s damn fine dystopian Children of Men have you thinking “Holy moly, that could actually happen! Maybe not the 100% infertility bit but definitely the collapse of civilization, right wing government, immigrants in cages thing”?
If so you may be interested to hear that Amazon is hosting an on-line chat with Cuarón in which he’ll answer questions related to the political situation in the film.
The live, interactive video interview takes place Monday, March 26, at 6:00 p.m. PDT, and can be seen at www.amazon.com/dvd. Questions can also be submitted ahead of time here and if you’re reading this post-March 26 then the whole thing should be archived here.
Sounds like an interesting new approach from Amazon, and will be intriguing to see what Cuarón has to say (I’m guessing he’s not a big Dubya fan…) and of course the fact that the Chilldren of Men DVD is released the day after the interview is entirely co-incidental. Probably.
