There is little doubt that you know that HBO is bidding ‘The Soprano’s’ farewell on Sunday. If you are thinking that you are catch ‘Entourage’ after watching the finale, you will be surprised to see the newest canon in HBO’s arsenal ‘John From Cincinnati’.
Brought to you by the creator of the now deceased HBO Western ‘Deadwood’, ‘John From Cincinnati’ has a cast that consits of Bruce Greenwood, Austin Nichols, Rebecca De Mornay, Luke Perry, Brian Van Holt, Dayton Callie, Jim Beaver, Garret Dillahunt, Willie Garson, Luis Guzmán, Emily Rose, and Ed O’Neill. They will portray surfing town Imperial Beach, California.
Although HBO tends to bring the highest shows quality on television, I am a little skeptical of this one. The show will probably bring picturesque shots, as most surfing movies or shows do, but I feel that these type of shows are best in small doses. I am looking forward to seeing Ed O’Neill, best known for his Al Bundy Character in ‘Married… With Children’, to seeing what he brings to the show.
If a surfing show sounds like your sort of thing, tune in at 10 PM on Sunday.
