‘Haunted’ Adaptation for Screen

“Haunted” a novel by Chuck Palahniuk, who authored “Fight Club” and “Choke,” is coming to the big screen with Koen Mortier (Ex-Drummer) writing and directing the adaptation.

“Haunted” is a collection of short stories collectively strung with a narrative. All the chapters contain three parts including a story chapter, a poem about a particular writer and a story written by that author.

Although I don’t find anything entertaining about Palahniuk stories, it amazes me that his work is adapted for the screen at all.  I thought Fight Club was well done — terrific. But, from what I gather about Haunted the subject matter is notorious.

Well, according to your viewing track record, his books that are adapted for the screen have done well. So why are you amazed that his work is adapted? Also, with that statement you made I’m guessing you’ve saw Choke?

In that statement I am referring to Haunted. Yes, I liked Fight Club — Ed Norton and Brad Pitt were very good. The story line was compelling.

    No I haven’t seen Choke.
