Harry Potter Meets The Nightmare Before Christmas?
So here’s the plot of the film, if you’ve been trying to figure out what the heck this film is about. “Hogfather” is set in the parallel universe of “Discworld”, and it’s the night before Hogswatch. Hogswatch is a special time of the year when the Hogfather delivers presents to the kids at the mid-winter festival in the medieval melting pot of Ankh-Morpork. But when the Hogfather is kidnapped by a group of villians known as the Auditors, the people’s inspiring belief in Hogswatch might be lost forever. Oh, and unless the Auditors’ plan is thwarted soon, humanity itself could be lost as well. The film airs next week on November 25th on ION. Stay tuned to Screenhead for an exclusive Hogfather giveaway, feauturing an awesome Hogfather prize pack. 2 Responses to “Harry Potter Meets The Nightmare Before Christmas?”Leave a Reply |
Now that sounds like an interesting film! And as bizarre as it sounds, it actually is a real film called “Hogfather”, which even won three BAFTA awards last year. “Hogfather” is a British film from the wild imagination of best-selling author Terry Pratchett, which is being billed as a “Harry Potter-esque, Nightmare Before Christmas-y” type of movie. With the holiday season quickly approaching, it couldn’t come at a better time!
It’s a fun BBC 2 part series- I really liked Death’s grand daughter, she was just perfectly casted.
