Harry Potter and its legion of devout followers has done the near impossible – it has become the world’s biggest earning movie franchise ever, beating out modern day smash-hits of the likes of Lord of the Rings and Spider-Man, but also some of the movie industry’s most beloved film franchises:Â Star Trek, Star Wars, and the Bond films. Now that is impressive!
Warner Brothers, the studio behind the Harry Potter film series, is surely pleased by the news. With more Harry Potter films to be made yet, they should be able to smash the records even further, securing the top spot for a good time to come.

Not to take anything away from this incredible universe, but isn’t comparing it to Lord of the Rings and Spiderman a little unfair? There have only been three movies of each of these, so, duh.

The same could be said for james bond, There have been 20 of them. Pesonally i dont like harry potter and i think JB is much better
