Handler returns to star in “Sex and the City Movie”

You can add another familiar face to the Sex and the City movie. This time, its the 45 year old Evan Handler who played Harry Goldenblatt, the unlikely spouse of Charlotte York for three seasons on the HBO hit series. The movie (which of course will be filmed in New York) will reunite co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Davis as they reprise the signature roles they played from 1998 to 2004.
Last week, it was reported that Dreamgirls Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is in talks to join the movie’s cast, in a role that wasn’t on the TV show - assistant to Parker’s character, the shoe-obsessed sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw.
Now, as the film is shooting this month with a 2008 release, movie executives are starting to bring back the familiar faces including some new ones to capture once again the audience that they have had since before the has concluded.
