Focus features has just released a new “red band” trailer for their upcoming comedy, “Hamet 2″, starring Steve Coogan and Amy Poehler. “Hamlet 2″ will be released August 22 in select cities, and August 29 nationwide. The trailer can be viewed at the film’s official website at www.hamlet2.com.

In the film Steve Coogan players the failed actor-turned-bad-drama-teacher who rallies his Tuscon, Arizon students as he conceives and states a politically incorrect musical sequel to Shakespeare’s Hamlet.  Also starring along side Coogan and Poehler are Catherine Keener, David Arquette, and Elisabeth Shue.  The film was written by Andrew Fleming and Pam Brady of “South Park” and “Team America” fame.
