All right, anime buffs–listen up because I’ve got big news for you. The Halo Legends, which had originally only shown scenes at the last San Diego Comic-Con, will be showing bits of its short The Babysitter on Spike TV at midnight Friday morning.
From Spike, in description of Halo Legends:
“The Babysitter” follows mankind’s Spartan super-soldier and the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers “when an all-or-nothing opportunity to strike at the heart of Covenant leadership arises.”
Sounds like it could be a winner, all right–the animation looks pretty sweet besides, and I’d definitely love to hear a little more out of the Halo universe. It’s not like we got a whole lot of good stories out of that series aside from what the games pumped out at us, and in all honesty, the games’ storylines really weren’t all that deep to begin with. They could’ve been a lot deeper, that’s for sure, and that’ll hopefully be something Halo Legends will help.
Just to recap, Midnight, Friday, Spike. Halo Legends.
