You probably remember Guy Ritchie directing smash hits like Snatch and Revolver, well this time he’s taking on a new role, bringing Sherlock Holmes to the big screen.
While details are scant about Warner’s newest picture, we do know that it will follow Lionel Wigram’s upcoming comic-book that is based on Arthur Conan-Doyle’s initial rendition of the detective.
You can also expect that this movie will have Sherlock tied up in a lot more action as Wigram noted that the comic book will make use of Sherlock’s past experience as a boxer and swordsman. Sounds fun.
There is no set date for Warner’s Sherlock Holmes but they are shooting for a 2010 release.
