I can tell you, first hand that it is. I am in my mid-thirties, and I used to live in the city as a little girl. We had tons of 42nd Street-style movie theaters and they showed double bills constantly. I used to go to these things every weekend. My gramps was a cool guy and he took me with him every single time. I watched Cannibal Holocaust at the age of nine on a double bill with some other kung-fu film. So as you can see, this is nothing but a stupid excuse to make more money. Oh, and where I live, Puerto Rico, our OFFICIAL languages are BOTH English and Spanish. So none of those excuses apply here.
