People hang on to life because Christians don’t commit suicide – only people like you do.

Yes, there are things going on (horrible things) in the name of god. But are you sure it is the real God?

God will come down to earth in this time of technical advancement and he will do this to kill people such as you – its called the rapture.

I’ll tell you what. If you happen to come down with an ailment that requires surgery or medicine in order to save your life, why don’t you just leave it to god and forget the surgery? Funny that you mention child molestation, murder, and drugs as being a by-product of no prayer or no god in the schools. These very same things have been going on in the churches as well. Get it through your heads. Morality has nothing to do with the practice of religion. There were morals before there was religion.

I know one thing for sure, and that’s the fact that neither one of you are “educated” as one of you claimed earlier. Your writing styles and grammar are horrible. There’s no way that either one of you have any better than a high school or junior college education. Explains why you haven’t gotten out much and understood the real workings of the world. Funny thing is that most Christians don’t even follow what Christ taught. Christ was inclusive, no matter what someone’s opinions were, not exclusive. Stanley Seay was right when he said to you that there’s a difference between schooling and education. You need to figure out what the difference is. Don’t try to tell me that I know nothing about the bible either. I grew up under the controlling influences of the Christian right, and I know very much about the bible. Problem is that most Christians don’t. They just take what they are spoonfed by their leaders as their own, instead of finding out the truth themselves. I’m glad that I was able to travel the world and get an “education.”

Remember when the church imprisoned Galileo for coming up with the ridiculous idea that the earth revolved around the sun? He was forced to recant his theories and embarrassed by his peers. How’s that for your great religion? Something to be proud of.

Behl, you’ve got to be kidding. You people have never let the atheists run this world. If you did, it would be such a better place. We wouldn’t have the conflicts today with the middle east. We wouldn’t have had the Salem witch trials (witches, how ridiculous is that?). We wouldn’t have had the Spanish Inquisition, or the Crusades, or the enslavement and murder of the natives of the Western Hemisphere. We wouldn’t have the constant persecution of the Jews which eventually led to the holocaust. All because they killed your Christ. Well, didn’t someone have to kill him in order for him to die for your sins? You know you guys even tried to blame the Bubonic Plague on the Jews. Shall I go on, or have you had enough?
