The Green Hornet is set to be directed by Stephen Chow, who will also star as the masked manservant Kato. Seth Rogen is aboard as the mask crime fighter — Green Hornet.

The movie bows June 25, 2010.

I am very excited about The Green Hornet finally coming to the big screen. I’ve know about the project for quit some time while it’s been in development.

Kato was originally played by Bruce Lee on television.

Sorry, but Kato was not originally played by Bruce Lee. You should always check the actual facts first; the first guy to ever originally play Kato outside of the original radio show and onto a tv screen did it in Black and White and was another oriental actor. Bruce arrived to play the role in color and was second to play him. The original guy to first play Kato is obscure to most for some reason, but it was Bruce Lee who actually made the character a real character, a natural thing, and very dangerous. Bruce Lee owned that character so much that some say he practically invented him. As if everything before, radio show-black and white show etc, was just a set up for Bruce to command. Bruce was born to play Kato, and no one can match it yet.
