Columbia Pictures confirms that Taiwanese actor, filmmaker and singer Jay Chou has been cast as Kato in Seth Rogen’s The Green Hornet.
Not much is known about Chou in the states, but he is popular in Taiwan and other Asian circuits. Reportedly, he has already made a name for himself in Asia.
Chou is joining Seth Rogen, Nicolas Cage and Cameron Diaz in the July 9, 2010 release.
