Graduate Sequel Coming Soon to a Bookstore Near YouCharles Webb, the man behind the script of “The Graduate”, has written a sequel that is now set to hit UK bookstores just 30 years after the big screen adaptation of the book starring Dustin Hoffman. The book is called “Home School”, and is set 10 years in the future. Mrs. Robinson is still around causing trouble, and Ben and Elaine are now parents. And as you can imagine, Mrs. Robinson is giving them a hard time about their parenting decisions. Like the original, the sequel is also based off Webb’s own experiences - Webb pulled his children out of school in the 1970’s to educate them. The book is set to be released in UK bookstores and is being published by Random House. No US release date has been revealed, so if you’re just dying to find out what happens next I’d suggest scouring eBay or ordering the book from an online UK bookstore. It will be interesting to see if this book will eventually be made into a movie sequel. One Response to “Graduate Sequel Coming Soon to a Bookstore Near You”Leave a Reply |
Maybe Webb saw “Rumor Has It”,and hoped to undo any damage done to “The Graduate” done by that film.
