47275688 THR sends word that Dan Gordon of The Hurricane and Wyatt Earp is set to pen the con man drama The King of Sting.

The film will be based on Craig Glazer’s autobiography, following the author’s two-decade long exploits canvassing the country as an undercover narcotics agent and pocketing money from stings.

Apparently, Glazer and his partner were so adept at conning victims that the Kansas City Police Department actually hired them to conduct real stings.

Eric Eisner is producing for L+E Productions.
