I’m watching NIC for the first time this season and I don’t know much about the contenders on the previous season (I’ve seen them on other shows but I don’t know about how they were on NIC). I can’t say much about Cat Cora, Mario Battali or Michael Symon but I’m a big fan of the current season. My favourite is Chef Jehangir Mehta because I feel that he always surprises audiences with his preparations and has a creative streak that sets him apart. His preparations never look staid or taste boring. I don’t know if I’m allowed to pick two contenders but I like Chef Jose Garces as well. He’s so relaxed and confident not rushed like everyone else.
