I took a very rare, close-up look at the secret lives of one of the world’s most beloved creatures in Pandas in the Wild,
available on DVD July 21, 2009.
I found out that only about 1,600 Giant Pandas survive in the wild with 200 to 300 in China’s mist-shrouded Quinling Mountains, which extend for thousands of miles and where few people gain permission to enter.
