Classic Sinatra II showcases a selection of Ol’ Blue Eyes’ most loved recordings from his Capitol concept albums, including “Moonlight In Vermont,” “Pennies From Heaven,” “Something’s Gotta Give,” and “All Of Me.” In addition, the set features four 1950s singles: “Love And Marriage,” “(Love Is) The Tender Trap,” “Learnin’ The Blues,” and “High Hopes.” Plus a 1956 recording of “Memories Of You” and a previously unreleased recording, “This Can’t Be Love.”
Sinatra has sold more than more than 150 million albums around the world, and racked up 31 gold and nine platinum albums (including three that went multi-platinum), one gold single, and two gold and platinum videos in the United States alone. He is the only artist to chart in Billboard’s Top Ten for seven consecutive decades.

Whenever they show the newsreel of Sinatra at the Paramount Theater in NYC surrounded by “bobby-soxers”, there’s a film of a girl kissing a magazine with Sinatra’s photo on it. That girl is MY MOTHER. She cut school that day, without telling my Grandma, and was surprised when the newsreel company took her photo.
Needless to say, her SECRET (cutting) was discovered.
She’s been a SINATRA fan for YEARS, and I’m sure she’d LOVE this..

I’m a second generation Sinatra fan. My Mom adored him, and in the 1940’s, she saw him perform in a small town before he was really famous. She had all of his albums, so I grew up on his music. My son was married in the Caribbean this year, and he chose a beautiful Sinatra classic for the Mother-Son dance. We danced to “Old Blue Eyes” in the sand on the beach at the reception, and I just know that my Mom was smiling down from heaven at us!
