stormtrooper501.JPG It looks like the History Channel is going to be getting another great Star Wars documentary out of George Lucas. Rumor is, Lucas is now making a documentary about the 501 legion of Stormtroopers.

Movieweb.com says:

“Someone close to the film told me about the amazing footage they have accumulated from all over the globe. Apparently, Lucas’ pull was so strong, he got the 501 legion, which consists of over a hundred members, to march in the Rose Bowl parade. An awesome sight to behold, this entire event was captured on camera.”

The movie is reportedly being edited this very moment, and will be called “Star Warriors”. It is also set to air on The History Channel and be released on DVD. Sounds exciting!

If there are only 100 members of the 501st how is it that there were over 200 participating in the Rose Parade? LOL The 501st actually has about 5000 members worldwide. A little research before releasing an article wouldn’t hurt.
