Garner West Virginian of the Year

jgardner.jpgActress Jennifer Garner has been honored by her hometown newspaper, The Sunday Gazette-Mail, as the 2007 West Virginian of the Year. The newspaper picked her because she is dedicated, works hard and serves as ambassador and role model for West Virginia.

In an email interview with the Gazette-Mail: “To me, most states are very similar. There are very few that have their own personality, so of course I feel like every West Virginian has a little something special that makes them different.”

Garner is on Broadway with the starring role along side Kevin Kline in “Cyrano de Bergerac” as well as in the new critically applauded film “Juno,” and has two more films shoot.

By the way, she is married to Ben Affleck with a 2-year old daughter named Violet.
