Jet Li's best pure martial arts film. This was the first Jet Li movie I ever saw - sitting on the hovercraft from Hong Kong to Macau, they were playing the VCD on the TV in the cabin, no audio, and I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Since then I've seen every Jet Li movie and this is the one I keep coming back to. And, incidentally, this film was Li's personal tribute to Bruce Lee. No “reportedly” about it – this is the one!
