Rebooting of Ice Castles began filming in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with figure skater Taylor Firth playing the 
starring role in Donald Wrye’s remake the 1978 film.
If anyone was around at the time of the original film, the theme song “Through The Eyes of Love” was a huge hit and a wonderful, uplifting song to sing.
The movie is about a love story set in the world of competitive figure skating also stars Rob Mayes, Henry Czerny and figure skater Molly Oberstar. Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan will appear in a cameo in the film.
Wrye directed the original film and is directing the remake.
