Final Grindhouse Trailer

I don’t want to go overboard here, but this is worth getting excited about. Even if the actual film doesn’t quite work (which is possible) it’s great that Tarantino and Rodriguez are doing something different.
Especially Tarantino. The guy’s been part of pop culture for over a decade now, and after Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction he could have kept doing the same old thing and got very tiresome. But Jackie Brown was classy, Kill Bill was an event, and in terms of concept Grindhouse is like nothing else you’ll see this year.

I got this trailer in front of Ghost Rider today, and the crowd went freaking nuts for it. I can’t recall the last time I’ve had an audience get that vocally excited for just a trailer. Grindhouse is going to be an experience like no other in modern cinema.
As for Ghost Rider? I’d give it a “meh” rating.

As a big Tarantino fan, I’ve excited for this. Looks like a lot of fun. Can’t wait for April 6th.
