Variety reports that Sam Fell (Flushed Away) is attached to direct the live-action adaptation of Royce Buckingham’s novel Demonkeeper for Fox 2000.
The story follows a Seattle teen who inherits responsibility for a house filled with demons. He, however, goes on a date and returns to find that kids have broken into the house, unleashing its most vicious demo, the Beast, Killer of Lost Children.
It is being adapted by Laeta Kalogridis and is being produced by Ken Atchity and Chi-Li Wong.
