Following months of back-and-forth speculation, Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that director Jon Favreau has reached a deal with Marvel Studios to oversee Iron Man 2, the insanely successful sequel to the alcoholic superhero movie.
Robert Downey Jr. is onboard thanks to the fact that there was a sequel clause in his contract. The inclusion of Terrence Howard and Gwyneth Paltrow are yet to be confirmed.
The sequel is targeted for release on April 30, 2010.
