- 39% have been watching more re-runs
- 38% have been watching more DVDs;
- 36% are listening to more music;
- 34% are watching more news programming;
- 27% are getting more sleep;
- 23% are going online more;
- 21% are reading more magazines;
- 19% are watching more On-Demand television and movies;
- 18% are watching more reality TV;
- 12% are watching more late night TV;
- 10% are going to the movies more;
- 9% are spending more money on entertainment;
- 9% are having more sex;
- and 4% are fighting with their spouse more.

With the strike in mind, the national survey also asked Americans if they knew what the acronym WGA stood for. Surprisingly, only 34% of Americans could correctly identify the WGA as the Writer’s Guild of America. In fact, 20% of those surveyed believed the WGA was a women’s professional golf association!
