The Hollywood Reporter carries word that Jesse Eisenberg is in final talks to join horror comedy Zombieland.
The film, in the works at Sony Pictures, tells the story of a mismatched pair of survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies. Eisenberg will play Flagstaff, a terrified shut-in whose cowardice has made him an expert at surviving zombies; however, he is forced out of his shell to join a band of survivors.
The story has been penned by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, with Ruben Fleischer directing.
