By now you may have read about Eddie Griffin’s little mishap on the set of the film Redline. For those who missed it, the undercover brother was practicing on Monday for a charity race when he totalled the rare Ferrari Enzo worth one and half million dollars.
The car was owned by by Redline executive producer Daniel Sadek. The upcoming film features the exotic cars from Sadek’s collection, minus one thanks to Griffin. Griffin was uninjured. Said Sadek, “I went to my trailer for about 15 minutes and I thought,`There’s people dying every day. A lot of worse things are happening in the world.”
It is unknown at this time if Griffin wiped out his salary along with the car. The incident was caught on video, so hopefully we can see Eddie Griffin’s version of Crash on YouTube. One thing for sure, Griffin will probably not be up for consideration if there’s a remake of Driving Miss Daisy.
