“Eastern Promises” Sneak Peak

Director David Cronenberg has teamed up once again with Viggo Mortensen and an all-star cast to bring us an exciting new crime thriller - Eastern Promises - which opens in theaters next month on September 14th. Also starring in the film are Naomi Watts, Vincent Cassel, and Armin Mueller-Stahl.
Eastern Promises follows the Nikolai, a ruthless and mysterious man tied to one of London’s most notorious organized crime families. But when Nikolai accidentally crosses paths with Anna, who accidentally uncovers potentially damaging evidence against the family, he is forced to set into motion a troubling series of murders, deceit, and retribution.
Those still mourning the loss of television’s most beloved crime family, The Sopranos, will find some of the very same themes in Eastern Promises, including sex, lies, murder, and the importance of family.
