Word has gotten around that Hilary Duff is set to play a “sexy, high school senior” in Stay Cool, an upcoming film from the Polish brothers, who are best known for Northfork and Twin Falls Idaho. Duff will take on the role of Shasta O’Neil, a teenager who flirts with a successful author visiting her school to deliver a speech to graduating students.
The writer in question will be acted by co-writer Mark Polish, with Winona Ryder starring as the unrequited high school crush he is forced to face up during the trip. Jon Cryer and Chevy Chase round out the cast.
