Drew Carey is reportedly in the running to take over the vacancy left by Bob Barker’s retirement from “The Price is Right.” According to sources, CBS and the show’s producer, Fremantle Media North America, have talked to Carey about hosting the game show. NBC already has a working relationship with Carey, having choosen him as the host of their next game show, “Power of 10.”
At this point, nothing is definitive, and the job could go to any one of a few contenders for the spot. Others being considered for the job include Rosie O’Donnell and George Hamilton. Of all the names mentioned for the job so far, I’d have to say that Drew Carey would get my vote.

He is definitely NOT the right person for T.P.I.R.
He keeps trying to make a joke out of everything on the show. His face is annoying to look at especially since it looks like he doesn’t even want to be there.
I agree with Ralph DeMattia 100%, especially #1 & 10.

I don’t understand ?? … There is nothing funny about Drew Carey … he is an idiot. He ruined my favorite show of all time (Whose Line is it Anyway) … Clive Anderson was fine on that one.
He goes into the audience and takes a hand mic with him (because the person he will talk to is not wearing a mic) … he holds the mic to his big sloppy mouth even though he is already wearing a lavaliere microphone, asks a question, and no one hears the answer to the question because the big arrogant dummy still has the the hand held microphone pressed against his own fat face. So now he has two microphones for himself and the interviewee has NO microphone. This guy not only does this for a living he gets paid a lot of money. Then he tries to play improve games with some of the best. He would be comparatively bad at this in your living room improving with your 8 year old. I don’t get it … he is useless … who did he B**W to get where he is … please remove Drew Carey from our sight … he sux

Drew Carey is a real slug. Says stuff like wow wee, Constantly flapping his gums for no reason other than to fill up every second of the show with his not humorous drivel, is not funny ever, repeats himself, has to call the models by name every chance he gets then thanks them for nothing. I hope he pisses somebody off and they shove his fat ass down on the stage. Please replace this idiot. He ruined Whose Line Is It Anyway. So now he is ruining TPIR? and doing a damn good job of it.
